Featuring interviews with director Christopher McQuarrie, Tom Cruise, and several co-stars and crew members including Hayley Atwell and stunt coordinator Wade Eastwood, the film centers on a major manhunt set in Rome. Of course, that’s not the job: tough, it is Mission: Impossiblewith the chase finding Cruz and Atwill tied together as they try to survive the villains attack on their tail.
This chase is just one of many action series sure to thrill audiences Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 hits the big screen. Returning director Christopher McQuarrie recently revealed that he and Cruise finally made their action movie dreams come true in the sequel, with the director wrecking a train and Cruise jumping off a cliff. “At the beginning of this movie, I said to Tom, ‘What do you want to do? He said, “I want to drive a motorcycle off a cliff. What do you want to do?” And I said, “I want to wreck a train,” the director revealed. “We are big fans of Buster Keaton, John Frankenheimer, David Lean, all these directors who have had at one time or another a great train wreck. I thought, ‘You earned it, I want to smash one too.'”
