Horizon Forbidden West‘s Burning beaches The DLC adds some new hardware to the game when it launches on April 19th on PlayStation 5. One of these robotic creatures, as Guerrilla Games just revealed, is called the Waterwing and is for those who want to fly through the skies and dive deep into the ocean.
As indicated in the tweet above, the Waterwing is a medium-sized flying mount that can seamlessly transition from flying among the clouds to diving deep into the water. Guerrilla stated that it was also an “unrelenting enemy”, but did not feature the water wing in any combat scenarios.
Somewhat similar to Sunwing, the Waterwing is the flying mountain in the base game that players ride near the end of the campaign. Both are quite similar in design, but the Sunwing’s head and wings are shaped slightly differently.
Guerrilla still has not shown much of Burning beachesEven her most recent post on the PlayStation Blog was about how the PS5 allowed the studio to make better, more realistic clouds. However, it revealed pre-order bonuses for the expansion rather than more nitty gritty details or a gameplay trailer.
