The film’s official synopsis reads: “Interracial brothers in the field of music are opposites in life, love, and sobriety.” The famous music artist struggles with addiction while his seemingly perfect brother and producer, Plain Wayne, is adored by the media for being his savior. However, away from the cameras, Plain Wayne may be responsible for Famous’ many reversals, as he wants to keep celebrities under his wing. When Famous gets a new lease on life and love, he begins to see the truth about his brother.”

Who is famous?
Famously written, directed and produced by Martha McGrath. It stars Brendan Jeffers (Degrassi: The Next Generation) and Brian Beeson (Clarice) and music from rapper Friyie, including the world famous hit “Money Team” – Floyd Mayweather’s lead single.
The film was shown at both the Shenzhen International Film Festival and the Boston Independent Film Festival, winning Best Experimental Film and Best Cinematography at the latter.
