expendable Movies get a really bad rap. However, an amazing cast, delightful action, and badass one-liners make for a very entertaining franchise. The cast is certainly what drew many to the movies in the first place, but what kept many coming back was their stunt action and brutal killing spree. So without further ado, oil your muscles and hone your weapons, as we rank the top kills expendable franchise.
10 X-Ray Machine – The Expendables 2 (2012)
The final chapter of Mercenaries 2 arousing. See the biggest action stars and heroes of the 80s like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Chuck Norris and Sylvester Stallone pull off massive kill counts while filling their enemies with bullets. But few moments have been better than the creative killing of an X-Ray machine.
During the one-man Chuck Norris massacre, the legendary martial artist punches a bad guy on an airport security conveyor belt before pumping him full of bullets. What makes this killing so memorable is the fact that the masses saw this killing through an x-ray machine.
Lacking in decency and creativity compared to the rest of the slayings on the list, this brutal murder is still among the best. The murder sees Dolph Lungdren repeatedly stomp on the head of one of his allies, on the glove compartment of a moving car. As cool as that kill is in the end, the final cherry on top of the cake is Lungdren exclaiming, “Bug!” to his deceased comrade.
8 Bike vs. Helicopter – The Expendables 2 (2012)
Shooting a helicopter in an action movie is nothing new. We saw that Live free or die hardAnd And back here at Mercenaries 2. This time, however, Sylvester Stallone sees a motorcycle engine send her speeding into a helicopter shooting Stallone and Jason Statham.
The motorcycle doesn’t instantly destroy or blow up the helicopter, instead, it sends it hurtling toward the ground and sending the helicopter into a monstrous nose-down, causing a huge explosion.
7 Full Steam Ahead – The Expendables 3 (2014)
Mercenaries 3 He is undoubtedly the weakest of the franchise. However, she had her moments. Most notable is the thrilling action scene on the train, which marked Wesley Snipes’ first appearance in this action movie series.
The Killing sees Wesley Snipes’ character, full of rage and vengeance, run to the front of the train to kill the conductor, before jumping onto the machine gun turret mounted to the front of the train. This, therefore, sends the train speeding into a heavily fortified castle, where Wesley Snipes lays waste to the castle along with the tower. Snipes’ captor and whipper stand strangely in the middle of said fort, and the train’s speed is right for him, running him over and destroying the entire fort.
6 Barneys Finger Guns – The Expendables 2 (2012)
The title may not suggest a particularly big kill, but this creative and badass kills Mercenaries 2 Really well and great. During the climax of the exhilarating opening sequence, Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham fall into a rock and a hard place. Surrounded by several militia members, Stallone and Statham must find a way out.
However, it was Stallone’s brilliant idea to make his finger shaped like a gun. Finger gun global movement. From there, Statham’s character asks, “This is loaded?” to which Stallone’s character responds with, “We can only hope.” Then Stallone points his finger gun at his enemies, and with a quick “thrakkakar thrakkakar,” the militia is blasted into oblivion by the sniper rifle carried by Liam Hemsworth’s character. One of the most killing creations in the franchise.
5 “Come here!” – Expendables 2 (2012)
As mentioned earlier, the last chapter of consumerism 2 It is bombastic and an action movie lovers dream. One of the highlights of the many final events mentioned, is the brutal and jaw-dropping battle between Barney Ross’ Sylvester Stallone and villainous Jean-Claude Van Damme. This is the sixth lane. After the two action legends get the better of it, the battle ends with the villain’s violent death at the hands of Barney Ross.
Perhaps the best way to describe this badass kill is to compare it to Scorpion’s own movie Mortal Kombat video game franchise. After seemingly losing the fight and being taunted by the villain of Van Dam, Stallone grabs a metal chain and slashes it around Van Dam’s neck, before pulling the legendary martial artist towards Stallone and plunging a knife into the opponent’s chest.
4 Chuck “Freaking” Norris – The Expendables 2 (2012)
Remember the funny memes of Chuck Norris, okay expendable The franchise leans heavily on them. Throughout the franchise’s run, the martial artist and action hero with profound skills has delivered many great moments and dialogue. Namely, when Stallone Poker’s Barney Ross asks character Chuck Norris, “You heard another rumor, that you were bitten by a king cobra?” Norris replied, “Yes, I was. But after five days of excruciating pain, the cobra died.”
One of Norris’ best moments of all, however, is when he single-handedly defeats an entire army and pins Ross and his crew from The Expendables. When all hope is lost and The Expendables run out of ammo, their attackers are met with a hail of bullets coming out of nowhere, all before the mysterious Protector detonates the tank. But when we see Chuck Norris casually stroll through a cloud of smoke, to the icon The good, the bad and the ugly Subject, everything makes sense.
3 Propeller to the Face – The Expendables 2 (2012)
Another moment of the brilliant finale in Mercenaries 2 It is when martial artists, Scott Adkins and Jason Statham finally get a chance to face off. The fight is full of great dancing and physicality from both martial artists, but the highlight is without a doubt the underestimation of the action star, the brutal death of Scott Adkins, via a spinning helicopter, tearing his head off.
2 The Man and the Knife – The Expendables 2 (2012)
expendable The franchise is peppered with many memorable quotes and badass, but none as remarkable as Jason Statham’s “By the power vested in me, I now tell you man and knife.” Cheesy, yes, but that’s what this franchise is about. So, as expected, after delivering that line, Jason Statham’s Lee Christmas begins chopping up a church full of bad guys.
1 Bullet Barrage – The Expendables 2 (2012)
There are many exaggerated killings in action movies. The kind that makes you think, “Hmm. This is a little too much.” With that said, we absolutely love every time the movie goes into overdrive. Whether it’s John Wick shooting an assassin with a dragon’s breath rifle only to have that same enemy run back to his firing line for John to shoot him again, or even Judge Dredd shooting a torch into a criminal’s mouth, melting his face from the inside in epic the job , Dredd. However, few killings are more brutal or relentlessly unnecessary than this one consumerism 2.
After the Expendables defeat the evil goons who attacked an unarmed small town, they discover that there is only one left, leaving Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Longdren, Nan Yu, Randy Couture, and Terry Crews all to turn around and empty their magazines into the poor soldier’s torso, spurting blood and guts everywhere and not Leaves only a giant hole.
