According to the report, White makes around $3 million annually wheel of fortune. While it’s certainly not small change, it’s nowhere near the amount Sajak charges, and is said to be five times higher. What will happen to the Wheel of Fortune when Pat Sajak leaves?

Last year, White spoke about her thoughts on what the show would be like if Sajak left. She admitted that she had a hard time imagining another person as a shot wheel of fortune, having used to be Sajak’s partner for four decades. White also noted that it was “disappointing” to think that their career together finally came to an end.

“I think when Merv Griffin chose both of us, 40 and 41 years ago, he saw something between us — a brother-sister kind of relationship,” White told People. “And I think that’s kind of what it is. He figured we’d be able to get along, and we do. We’re like a brother-sister team.”

Of Sajak and White’s separation, she added, “I can’t imagine. Everyone is related wheel of fortune To Pat and Vanna. We’re like Ken and Barbie, you know? We’ve been in everyone’s homes for 40 years, so it would be weird for someone else to change my messages.”

At the same time, Wyatt is still enjoying her job, which could explain why she’s still willing to stay with Sajak on her way into the sunset. Perhaps a raise would help overcome the disappointment of becoming someone different from her wheel of fortune hosts.

“I can’t believe it’s been 40 years,” White said of her involvement with the game show. “Honestly, I loved every minute of it. Who says they still love their job after 40 years? Me! I really love it. It’s such a fun show. Everyone watches it and enjoys it and it changes people’s lives and makes people happy. So it’s great work.”
