
Netflix has released the official trailer for Miraculous: Ladybug and Cat Noir, the movie. Based on the animated series Miraculous Tales of Ladybug and Cat NoirThe movie puts the characters on their biggest adventure yet. The movie will premiere on Netflix on July 28, 2023, and in the meantime, you can get a sneak peek by watching the new trailer below.
In the movie, which is the first feature film based on miracle franchise, the story follows”
Ordinary teenager Marinette, her life in Paris becomes supernatural when she becomes Ladybug. With magical powers of creation, Ladybug must team up with her counterpart, Cat Noir, to save Paris as a new villain unleashes chaos on the city.”
The film was directed by Jeremy Zag, who wrote the screenplay with Betina Lopez Mendoza. Zag also produces with Aton Soumache and Daisy SHang, while the executive producers are Emmanuel Jacomet, Michael Gracey, Tyler Thompson, Alexis Vonarb, Jean-Bernard Marinot, Cynthia Zouari, Thierry Pasquet and Ben Li. Serving as co-producers are Elizabeth Geary, Brice Garnier, Cameron Sonerson, and Marilyn Prager.
A miraculous voice unites Miraculous: Ladybug & Cat Noir, the movie
Everyone will look the same miracle movie, which is good news for fans. The animated feature reprises the stars of the animated series, including Cristina Vee Valenzuela (Marinette/Ladybug), Bryce Papenbrook (Adrien/Cat Noir), Keith Silverstein (Gabriel Agreste/Hawk Moth), Carrie Keranen (Alya), Cilla Victor (Chloe Bourgeois), Zeno Robinson (Nino), Chris Smith (Tom), Ann Yatko (Sabine), Paul St. Peter (Wang Fu), Milla Lee (Tikki), Max Mittleman (Plage), Cassandra Lee Morris (Sabrina) and Sabrina Weisz (Nathalie).
The franchise was produced along with the series Miracle: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir. The show was created by Thomas Astruc and developed by Jeremy Zag. Set in Paris, the film follows teens Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste as they transform into superheroes Ladybug and Cat Noir, who are tasked with protecting the French city from supervillains. It debuted on Nickelodeon in 2015 before moving to Disney Channel in 2019. The series can also be watched streamed on Disney+ and continues to air on Disney Channels.
The animated show is currently in its fifth season. I have produced a sub-series dubbed Chibi miraclewhich airs on Disney Channel Latin America. The musical also premiered in Paris in 2022 before touring France. There have also been video game and manga adaptations of the miracle franchise. The upcoming Netflix release is the first feature film adaptation, and if it does well, there could be more upcoming movies featuring Ladybug and Cat Noir.
