There is a lot of pressure on these blockbuster franchise films, with millions and millions of dollars at stake, and the compromises are part of trying to make it the most successful thing it can be. Then on. On the other end of the spectrum is a small independent film like in hella work of art and a work of love, with nowhere near the same resources, and so there are compromises there.”

AquamanThis franchise and the mechanism behind it, I’m very honored, and I’m honored to be a part of that. Then there are small projects like in hell, where I am proud to have gotten to know the director and actress, and we warmed up together, bringing this story to life. There’s just something wonderful about that, and I think success is an actor who’s able to have those two things.”
