
We have an exclusive clip of the premiere of the next episode of + Apple TV series, Carpool Karaoke: The Serieswhich premieres March 31 and features a Scottish cast Brian Cox (Succession) And Alan Cumming (Shmegadon!). In our segment, dubbed “To Karaoke or Not,” actors are given directions to random Shakespearean characters with the task of trying to render one of the character’s monologues just from memory. As you can see by watching the clip below, Cox and Cumming do well with this game, even doing one together.
Carpool Karaoke: The Series It won last year’s Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy, Drama, or Variety Short Series for the fifth consecutive time. It has been nominated every year since becoming eligible, and has won each of the previous four seasons. This makes it one of the few shows in the history of television to have received this honor. The show has also won several Producer Guild Awards along with a Hollywood Critics Association Television Award nomination.

Each episode features a celebrity couple driving around in a car while performing karaoke along with other fun games. Corden appeared in the pilot with Will Smith, but the show has since featured other couples in its many episodes. Some of Season 5’s pairings include Simu Liu and Jessica Henwick; Anita and Sweety; Sandra Oh and Duran Duran; Kevin Bacon and Michael Bacon; Method Mann and Chris Reid. and professional wrestlers CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, Christian Cage, Dr. Brett Baker DMD, Power House Hobbs, Robbie Soho, MGF.
Carpool Karaoke: The series is still going strong
