Award winning actor Brad Pitt He’s been there and almost done all of it his entire career, and while he’s behind the camera more these days, his latest project with Apple TV+ will have him driving a Formula One race car, literally. While the sports movie was heard through the grapevine, there was no mention of its name. Well now, according to a report from Collider, we now know it’s going to be called climaxwith Pitt in the lead role of a retired racing driver.

Announcement climax It came in somewhat sarcastic fashion, with a surprising tweet from ESPN’s apparently since-deleted F1 Twitter handle. However, from Collider’s report we know that it read:

“Brad Pitt has his own garage in Silverstone this weekend. His new movie ‘Apex’ will be filmed on location for the first time at the British Grand Prix.”

Alongside this, Pete’s character is revealed as Sonny Hayes, and an image of a “younger” version of himself in a driver’s suit is seen in the background. Other than that, we know that Pete already has his own garage at the famous Silverstone track this coming weekend, in the middle of the British Grand Prix. The garage is designed just like a decorated F1 driver, and Formula One’s Twitter handle revealed the actual race car Pete will be driving. It will obviously be modified by Mercedes into an F2 style, while retaining the look of an F1 car. Scenes filmed on the track literally between races will be filmed throughout the Grand Prix Championship, with no interference whatsoever in the event itself. However, it’s clear that Pete’s appearance has already garnered a lot of fan attention on the site.
