Big announcement coming from Paramount, Nickelodeon, and Pinkfong! Next Baby Shark Big Movie! It will be strewn with all the stars! The movie is set to premiere this year on Paramount+.
Baby Shark Big Movie It will follow Baby Shark (Kimiko Glenn) as he tries to find his fins when his family moves to the big city. Life is hard without his best friend, William (Luke Youngblood). But when an evil singing starfish vows to steal Baby Shark’s song gift, it’s up to Baby and his family to save the day and bring music back to the seas.
Among the returning cast from Baby Shark Big ShowAlong with Glenn and Youngblood, Natasha Rothwell (Unsafe) as Mommy Shark; Eric Edelstein (We are bare bears) as Daddy Shark; Debra Wilson as Granny Shark; and Patrick Warburton as Grandpa Shark. Grammy-winning Cardi B reprises her role as Sharki B as well as her family, Offset as Offshark, Kulture as Kulture Sharki, and Wave as Wavey Shark. Joining the recurring cast is Ashley Tisdale (High School Musical) as the infamous Stariana; Aparna Nancherla (Mira, the royal detective) as a helper boxfish generation; Ego Nodem (Saturday Night Live) as Leah, Mommy Shark’s best friend from college; Chloe Fineman (father of the bride) as Lani, daughter of Leah; ENHYPEN as Beluga K-pop group, Lance Bass as TV presenter, Lance Bass. One song, one fish, a ton of staying power
If you’re a parent of young children in 2016, Baby Shark probably needs no introduction to you. “Baby Shark” originated as a campfire song dating back at least to the 20th century. The song became a sensation in 2015 when Pinkfong released their own cover of the song on Youtube. The song became an earworm that got into the minds of kids and parents alike, through thick and thin, earning the title of the platform’s first video with 10 billion views. This made it the platform’s most watched video in history!
The popularity of the music video prompted Nickelodeon and Pinkfong to partner and create Baby Shark Big Show for the pre-school block. Baby Shark Big Show It follows the titular shark and his best friend, William, as they get in and out of trouble at their home in Carnivore Cove. The series is produced by Gary DiRaffaele, Tommy Sica, and Witney Ralls. Ralls is also working as a writer for the upcoming movie.
Baby Shark Big Show It’s still currently airing on Nickelodeon and still going strong, with its second season premiering in October 2022. With the release of the movie, it seems like the world can’t get enough of the music-loving shark and his family! All of Season 1 is available to stream on Paramount+. Currently there is no release date for the movie.
